If you told me when I was a kid that you could automatically translate what someone said, as they were saying it, then translate what you said back, I would have thought you were a superhero.

Use these smartphone travel apps to make your life easier!

Google Translate

Available on iOS and Android, Google Translate allows users to type in or dictate short sentences and the app will translate it from one language to another.

Google Translate also has a visual translation feature which translates text using your camera. That’s pretty awesome.

Citymapper is like if all of your favourite transport apps had a baby and then it was blessed by a unicorn. But better. I really can’t stress enough how useful this app is, I feel lost in a city without it.
